iphone3g voice and data plan charges by AT & T

So finally its time for iphone3g to hit the markets. The new generation iphone will be available at apple stores and over 1800 AT & T outlets from 11th July. Now we all know that the 8 GB model is priced at $199 and the 16 GB model at $299. But what about the service charges by AT & T?
Well, the cheapest voice and data plan by AT&T for iphone 3g is priced at $69.99 (plus tax). That’s a whole $10 more than what current iphone users are paying for their edge network services. For $69.99, you get 450 mins of voice ($39.99), 5000 mins of weekend and nights, unlimited data and unlimited data ($30). Throw in another $5 for 200 text messages per month.
New customers will also have to shell out a $30 activation charge.

$89.99 - 900 Anytime Minutes, unlimited weekend and nights, unlimited data
$109.99 - 1350 Anytime Minutes, weekend and nights, unlimited data
$129.99- Everything is unlimited
None of the above plans have text messaging included.
Text Messaging Plans:
$5 - 200 Messages
$15 - 1500 Messages
$20 - Unlimited
Apart from these they also have family and business plans.
